Alan Wake Collector’s Edition on PC receives boost as additional bonus disc unveiled

Wealth of content results in expansion of eagerly awaited boxed release of Remedy's bestselling game

Tuesday February 28th, 2012 – Nordic Games has announced that the Collector’s Edition of Alan Wake on PC will include not one, but two bonus discs due to the plethora of material developer Remedy has made available for the retail release.

The Collector’s Edition will now come with four discs, two of which contain bonus material. Previously unannounced content includes The Writer (DLC) launch trailer and The Signal (DLC) teaser and launch trailer, and two new features: Building the Technology and Building a Thriller.

The two bonus discs also contain History of Remedy, Making of Alan Wake, Making of a Thriller, a music video “War” by Poets of the Fall, game trailers and a storyboard with concept art.

The boxed version of Alan Wake for PC will hit the shelves on March 2nd priced £29.99 for the Special Edition and £34.99 for the Collector’s Edition ; the digital version launched on Steam on February 16th.

Remedy is also working with Nordic Games to bring the PC version of Alan Wake to retail shortly. This critically acclaimed game has been revamped for the PC with stunning high-resolution graphics and enhanced PC features. The PC version includes the original game along with the two pieces of downloadable content (The Signal and The Writer) and everything you’d expect from a PC version and more. Players will experience Alan Wake’s Pacific Northwest with higher resolutions and even higher fidelity. Players will experience the interplay between light and darkness like never before. With plenty of graphical customization options, every player can get the most out of their rig. Other refinements include a fully configurable mouse and keyboard setup as well as Microsoft gamepad support.
